Bilall:Yeah, the Reggie sequence is the ultimate. He really stole the movie. TheBad Boys IIscene with Reggie is so iconic. I’ve seen it a million times.
Adil:Yeah, me too. For all theBad Boysfans, that’s always one of the highlights.

Adil:Yeah, the two of us, together with Will and Martin, were like, “Okay, 20 years later, how are we going to do the greatest, coolest payoff to that one scene in 2003?” In the history of cinema, a payoff to a setup like that has never happened in a movie series. So Dennis did a great job. He has only made three movies and they are allBad Boysmovies.

Reggie was first introduced as a joke character inBad Boys II, with Mike and Marcus trying to scare him into not taking Megan out despite his soft-spoken demeanor. He eventually marries Megan inBad Boys for Lifeand joined the US Marines in the time between movies. In returning with the rest of theBad Boys: Ride or Diecast,he’s able to put his skills to good use by defeating an army of mercenariesthat try to capture his father-in-law’s family.
Every Bad Boys Movie, Ranked Worst To Best
The Bad Boys movies are still going strong almost three decades after the release of Bad Boys in 1995, and they only seem to get better.
The biggest reason Reggie’s action sequence is a standout in the movie is because of how unassuming his character had been up until that point. While it was clear he was a decorated Marine, most of what the audience had seen of him so far involved being a gentle, shy young man who loves Megan, plays video games, and eats chips. However,the danger of the mercenaries is his call to action, giving him an opportunity to prove how capable he really is. This important moment turns him from a joke character into a formidable protector.
While it’s unclear if apotentialBad Boys 5will happen, it would make sense for Reggie to come back, allowing him to flex his skills in another memorable action scene. His return could be accompanied by a threat he would have to face down with Mike and Marcus, perhaps making him a more central character than inBad Boys: Ride or Die. With Bilall going as far as to pitch a spinoff for him, it’s clear he’ll still be central to the story should it continue beyond the latest film.
