InV Rising, there is a boss calledGoreswine the Ravager wandering the roads in the Farbane Woods,which you will have to find and defeat. Understanding aboss fight inV Risingis all about understanding the attacks and the pattern of how an enemy fights.Goreswine The Ravager has four total attacks, most AOE Poison-based attacks. These attacks can hit hard if the player does not stay at a ranged distance. However,Goreswine’s final attack is a ranged attack that can stun the playerif it hits. This makes it important to stay light on your feet throughout the fight.
Goreswine is escorted byfour Armoured Skeletons. Theydo not have any special attacks, but it is worth noting that they could pose a threat if ignored.

The half-health attack means that you need tokeep a close eye on Goreswine’s health, as you will want to be further away from him when his health drops. In general, asRodwennpoints out in a YouTube video, you will want to do yourbest to stay at a ranged distance from Goreswine. This will keep you safe from the vast majority of the poisonous clouds.
Rodwenn also suggests having agood melee weapon and a crossbow on handfor this fight. The crossbow will allow you to remain at a distance and stay on the move, avoiding the poison clouds as needed. When Goreswine is standing in or close to the poison clouds, you’re able to continue damaging him using the crossbow while staying safe. Unholy Magic
You will earnseveral rewards for Goreswine The Ravager’s defeat, which will help you on your journey inV Rising. In total, you will receive three different categories of rewards from the fight:powers, structures, and recipes. The four Armoured Skeletons should also drop Bones for you to collect.
In the power category, you will receive aTier 1 Spell Point in Unholy Magic, of which there are three possibilities for you to unlock. Unholy Magic focuses onbuffing magical damage and summoning Skeleton palsto help you in combat. The three spells you can unlock with this Spell Point are as follows:

Corrupted Skull
This spell launches a projectile that deals magic damage, summons a skeleton, and inflicts Condemn (which can summon a Skeleton Mage on target death). It also deals bonus damage to any enemies with low health.
Bone Explosion
This brings a bone pile from below to the surface at a target location that explodes. It deals magic damage and also inflicts Condemn.
Ward of the Damned
This type of shield blocks melee and projectile attacks in front of you (but not all around you). When it successfully blocks an attack, it will summon a skeleton, and every subsequent block will have a chance to summon additional skeletons. If you recast the spell, you will launch a wave of energy that deals magic damage and inflicts Condemn.
The Passive Abilities of Unholy Magic allow certain Skeletons to be summoned no matter what spell you unlock and have a few other buffs for cooldowns and minion damage.
You also unlock tworecipes inV Risingfor structures to add to your castle, theTomb and Graveyard Decor. The Tomb allows you to spawn enemies to get their drops, two of which are also unlocked by Goreswine and are discussed below. The Tomb itself needs 80 Stone and 20 Bones to build. The Graveyard Decor adds thematically appropriate items, includingNocturne Garden Fences, Gates, and Modest Flying Candles.
