According to a post on X by AnimeTV,Tokyo Revengersis officially returning for a sequel.According to Crunchyroll, the announcement was made at a fan event and has been accompanied by a new teaser visual and an announcement video posted toTokyo Revengers' official YouTube channel.

The new teaser visual features Takemichi embracing Mikey, both of whom appear to be quite injured while the announcement video features snippets from previous seasons, recapping the events so far. Very little has been revealed about the upcoming project other than the fact that it will be a sequel, opening thepossibility of it being a movie or even a whole new season.

The arc spans only 20 chapters, which by itself would not be enough to cover even one full cour based on the anime’s current pacing. Many fans have entertained the possibility of the Bonten Arc being a movie, and this may indeed end up being the case with the new sequel project.
The series also has big plans for 2025 in celebration of the anime’s anniversary. Another exciting project in the works is a new chibi gag series calledFairy Tale Revengers. The chibi series will be centered around retelling classic fairy tales, starting with the famous legend of Momotaro. Clearly, an exciting year awaits fans ofTokyo Revengers.
