Negotiating Peace Between the Holy Empire and Tempest
Episode 11 ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’s third season saw Rimuru and his most trusted advisors sitting down with the leadership of the Holy Empire of Lubelius, hoping to hash out exactly what happens now that their fighting has drawn to a close. Rimuru managed to get them to not only begin diplomatic relations with Tempest, but also to recognize the Armed Nation of Dwargon as a potential ally, treating Dwarves more like humans. to help the Empire save some face, Rimuru also agreed to state that his battle with Hinata ended in a draw.
Aside from the peace meeting, which ended with Rimuru getting drunk alongside Demon Lord Valentine and saying a little more than he ought to, there was quite a lot of further scheming going on in this episode. The episode opened with Rozzo speaking to the Eastern Merchant, as each blamed the other for the failure of their plan to set Lubelius against Rimuru and get Hinata killed. That same Eastern Merchant paid a visit to Yuuki Kagurazaka before leaving back for his home country, agreeing to send a new meddler by the name of Misha in his place. Yuuki was also revealed to be working with another Demon Lord, Kazalim, AKA Kagali.

Rimuru Finally Gets to Celebrate His Ascension to Demon Lord
Season 3, episode 12 ofThat Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slimeis entitled “Festival Preparations.” Fans may remember from back at the beginning of the season that Rimuru was intending to throw a festival to welcome those who’ve come to congratulate him onbecoming a full-fledged Demon Lord. With the fighting in the past now, it seems that the time for that festival has finally arrived, and the full efforts of the nation of Tempest will be put towards this goal.
Based on chapter 102 of the manga, fans can expect to see Rimuru approaching some allies and business partners about helping to establish this upcoming festival, such as Myourmiles. The story may also check in with King Gazel of the Armed Nation of Dwargon, who will react in a surprising way to the news of Lubelius’s overture. Festival invitations will reach King Gazel among many other notable figures, meaning that Rimuru’s big founding festival is likely to have some of the most important people on the continent in attendance.
