The New Acolyte Image May Answer So Many Questions From Episode 3
It’s possible that this image is just an artistic representation ofThe Acolyteepisode 3, and that the Sith Lord was only included to illustrate the duality between Mae and Osha. However, there’s some evidence suggesting this is a legitimate hint of what’s to come in the show.There are other ways to illustrate that Mae was closer to the dark side than Osha was without including the Sith Lord, who wasn’t even in the episode to begin with. Using the Sith Lord to make that point would have only caused confusion, unless there was a deeper reason for their presence.

There are also a few clues within the artwork itself that the Sith Lord had a hand in Brendok’s fire. The smoke and flames in the image are coming from behind them, which is a visual cue that the two are related.Additionally, everything in the image centers around the Bunta tree, which is where Mae got the poison she used to kill Torbin inThe Acolyteepisode 2. That could be a hint that poison is more important to Mae than just as a weapon. Mae mentioned that she needed to kill Torbin “her way” when Qimir objected, which could be a sign that Bunta had some deeper meaning to her.
