Xbox fans have spent years begging Microsoft to release their own branded handheld, and on Jun 09, 2025, it was finally revealed during theXbox Showcase.

The ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds will release onOctober 16, 2025.

Preorders have not been revealed, but Best Buy already has online listings of theROG Xbox Ally,ROG Xbox Ally X,charging dock, anda case for the upcoming handheld.

While we received the release date during Gamescom 2025, Xbox did not reveal how much the ROG Xbox Ally will cost at release.

However,leaks suggestthe base model ROG Xbox Ally will cost $549.99, with the higher-end model coming in at $899.99.

The handheld was revealed during the Xbox Showcase on June 21, 2025, in the first trailer for the device.
