Janine’s Secret Technique Card In Pokémon TCG Will Have Two Versions
The recently revealedFull Art version of Janine’s Secret Technique is actually one of at least two versions of the upcoming card in the set. The Trainer will also have a standard print, whose illustration does not occupy the entire card and, instead, is limited to the boundaries of the regular card’s frame. This standard version of Janine’s Secret Technique had already been revealed alongside a newSpecial Illustration RarePokémon TCG: Night Wanderercardand several other upcoming cards for the expansion.
“Full Art versions of Trainer-Supporter cards tend to be some of the most valuable in every collection.”

In terms of gameplay, the Trainer card can be useful within some deck compositions. By using, players can choose up to two Darkness-type Pokémon and then search for a Basic Darkness Energy card in the deck and attach it to the respective Pokémon. If Energies were attached to a Pokémon, that Pokémon is now Poisoned. While it does have the downside of inflicting a negative Special Condition, which can be cleared, it compensates for what can be an immediate outburst of power. With two Darkness Energy cards attached immediately,a player can accelerate thePokémon TCGmatch significantly.
While the standard and the Full Art version of the card are essentially the same, they do have different rarities and, with it, different prices. It is impossible to determine exactly how much this will cost among collectors and traders, but Full Art versions of Trainer-Supporter cards tend to be some of the most valuable in every collection, second only to some outstanding pieces of rare artwork for fan-favorite creatures. BecauseJanine is a beloved Gen 2 Trainer, there is a chance the Full Art version of Janine’s Secret Technique inPokémon TCG: Night Wandererwill be valuable.
For reference, Janine’s Full Art Trainer card forSun and Moon’sUnbroken Bondsexpansion is costing around $ 13.93, according toTCGPlayer.
