Summary

Nintendo Switch Online’s latestThe Legend of Zelda: Four Swordsgame should have been an exciting addition, but Nintendo’s choice on which version to add has made it a lot more contentious. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Won’t Let Players Play Alone

This Is An Issue Is Only On The Gameboy Advanced Version

Nintendo Switch Onlinerecently addedThe Legend Of Zelda: Four Swordsfrom Gameboy Advanced as a new playable title. However, this original version of the game was only playable with two or more players, and this is the version that Nintendo chose to port to the Switch. This means players can’t simply enjoy the game on their own and will have to find friends or players online to join in their game. This makes it much more difficult for players to organize a play session, and might not be something all players are interested in doing.

This wouldn’t be as big of a frustration for players if players knew that the game was multiplayer only. Players could just treat the way they approach games likeIt Takes TwoandA Way Out, knowing that it is an experience meant to be enjoyed by multiple people. However, the main issue with Nintendo choosing to port this version ofFour Swordsis thatthere is a version that would have allowed players to play on their own.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Review - Building Excellence

Tears of the Kingdom takes Legend of Zelda into mostly familiar ground, but it remains an excellent, must-play title with plenty of innovation.

While players are understandably frustrated that they can’t play the updated version of the game, there is a pretty clear reason why Nintendo chose the GBA version over the 3DS one.
