Gamescom’sOpening Night Live is upon us, offering trailers, announcements, and the reveal ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 7.
The annual gaming convention is held in Cologne, Germany, and runs from August 19-24, kicking off with the Opening Night Live showcase on August 19.Last year, we saw reveals for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Borderlands 4, Marvel Rivals, and 2025 is another event you don’t want to miss.
Host Geoff Keighley has already revealed a few upcoming announcements including the fact that “Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 worldwide reveal at Opening Night Live kicks off Gamescom in a massive way.” Here’s how to watch the event.

How to watch the Black Ops 7 reveal
The Black Ops 7 reveal is kicking off Gamescom Opening Night Live, so it’ll be the first game shown. FollowingCall of Dutyreveal tradition, we expect to see the release date confirmation alongside some campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies gameplay, with anyWarzonedetails coming closer to launch, perhaps at the Call of Duty Next event (if they do it again).
What to expect
While the full slate hasn’t been revealed yet, several major upcoming games could be shown:
PlayStation has skipped Gamescom for the last few years, so unless we hear otherwise, don’t expect to see any reveals from Sony. We’ll be sure to update this section once more games are officially confirmed.
