How to automate in Schedule 1
Preparing everything by hand can be exhausting in Schedule 1, but if you automate your mixing process, it can save you valuable time and energy.
Schedule 1gives you the freedom to create your own drug empire, and the choice about what to sell and how is all up to you. But no matter what kind of kingpin you decide to be, one thing is always true — the more product you make, themore moneyyou earn.

At the start, you’ll have no choice but tomix your drugsby hand, but once the operation expands, you’ll need to start automating the process to maximize efficiency. Here’s everything you need to know about how to do it.
What you need to automate mixing
Before you can automate, you need to make sure that your operation has the following staff members and items:
The good news is that most of these are available fairly early on in the game. The key items are unlocked after a few main story missions, and the staff can be hired easily once you’ve racked up enough money to pay them a regular wage.

Schedule 1 automation explained
The first step in setting up an automatic mixing loop ishiring a Handler and Chemistto oversee the process. Once they’re employed, make sure they’re paid and have a bed assigned to them to ensure there are no disruptions.
From there, use theManagement Clipboardto assign the Handler to a Packaging Station. Then, use the ‘routes’ option to create a loop from the storage rack you use to store your products, such as meth and bags, to the Packaging Station.

You then need to manage the packing station itself and select an output destination, choosing any free storage rack. Ideally, you want it to be close by so that you can easily keep track of the product and reduce the time the Handler spends walking around.
Now it’s time to assign the Chemist to a Chemistry Station, which will ensure they mix without supervision. If you’remaking meth, you’ll also need to assign them to an oven, which we recommend you place directly next to the Chemistry Station.

Then, with the Management Clipboard again, manage the Chemistry Station and change the output destination to the oven. Next up, manage the oven and change the output destination to the same rack you asked the Handler to take the product from for packaging.
Finally, to get the loop fully up and running, go back and assign the Handler to a new storage rack containing all of the ingredients the Chemist needs, so Pseudo, Acid, and Phosphorus.
Automated mixing loop explained
Once this is done, you have a fully functioning mixing loop, where all you need to do is keep the rack of ingredients topped up and your staff will take care of the rest. To simplify things, here’s a quick breakdown of the automated mixing in action:
This example focuses on meth, but you can apply this to any drug you want to create by simply swapping out the ingredients and relevant stations.
As your operation grows and you start to rake in the cash, you’ll be able to set up multiple loops at once to ensure you have a steady stream of product to sell, as long as you have enough staff to operate them. This is where organization is key, as you’ll need to set up the stations and racks in a way that is easy to follow.
