In a recent interview withScreen Rant, Worthington reveals the true lead character inHorizon: An American Sagaisn’t a part played by an actor at all. According to the star,the central character in the movie is actually a town. Check out Worthington’s comment below:
“Yeah, and the main character of this is a town. That’s what it is. And the story is about this town being built from a stake in the ground that upsets all these ants, all the way up to wherever it’s going to go in the future with steam trains, and saloons. We just happened to be the color, the characters that inform this main character. So, it’s interesting to see that evolution of each set getting bigger and bigger and bolder as it progresses.”

Kevin Costner’s Epic Western Features An Impressive Roster Of Actors
Costner plays a prominent role inHorizon: An American Sagaas Hayes Ellison. As has been shown in trailers for the film,Hayes is an experienced fighter, and he will be the key figure through which audiences experience the sweeping epic. In addition to making some enemies throughout the story, Costner’s Hayes is set to have a love interest in Abbey Lee’s Marigold.
Costner is currently in production on his thirdHorizonmovie, but has expressed interest in making four in total.
Jamie Campbell Bower, who is perhaps now best known to audiences as Vecna fromStranger Things, will continue his villainous streak by playing the slimy Caleb Sykes. Sykes is shown in trailers to be a particularly nefarious individual who Hayes faces off against directly. Joining Worthington as a member of the military is Danny Huston, who plays Colonel Albert Houghton.
As theHorizon: An American Sagarelease dateapproaches, many characters remain quite mysterious in terms of their role in the larger story and their motivations.
