While this announcement may seem randomly-timed, this Ghoul craze isn’t coming out of nowhere.Walton Goggins' portrayal of The Ghoulin Prime Video’sFalloutseries has brought the character and the species as a whole into another layer of popularity. After watching Goggins dazzle with enhanced durability and unmistakable charm,Falloutfans around the world were eager to suit up as the irradiated creatures in-game.
Playing as a Ghoul in otherFalloutgames, such asFallout 4, is strictly an aesthetic feature. Fallout 76has improved by leaps and bounds since its release in 2018, but this update is too little, too late. While many players will certainly find fun in playing as a ghoul inFallout 76, there are plenty of other things that update space and development time could be used for.
