Critics’reviews forLand of Womentend to praise just how easy going and immensely consumable the show is due to its storytelling, performances, and humor, but it’s clear that the title just isn’t striking this same chord with audiences. It’s unclear whether the poor audience reception is reflected in viewership for the show, but it has been billed as a miniseries, meaning a season 2 isn’t likely to come anyway. Hopefully, Longoria’s next project afterLand of Womenis able to please both audiences and critics.
