The power to nullify all forms of magic and undo spells is interesting to see, and only one mage is truly able to use it. Asta, a commoner from Hage Village, can use this spectacular power effortlessly since he doesn’t possess any magical power.
Hisinability to use magiccaused many to disbelieve that Asta could become a Magic Knight, let alone the Wizard King, but his determination caused him to be chosen by a five-leaf grimoire. Asta uses the four demon swords he has collected along his journey, in combination with the ability to nullify magic, to become a strong Magic Knight.
Each sword has different abilities that make it powerful, especially when combined with Asta’s physical strength and swordsmanship skills. He can create a union with the devil that is stored inside his grimoire, which helps enhance his anti-magic swords to make him a formidable foe in battle.
Demon Slayer Sword and Dweller Sword
Asta Obtained Both Swords Early in the Series
The Demon Slayer swordfirst appeared when Asta received his grimoire. Asta pulls the sword out of his grimoire to protect Yuno from the chain magic user Revchi Salik. The sword is very large but Asta can swing it with ease due to all the physical training he put his body through. The Demon Slayer sword is his main weapon as he uses it for most of his journey, and Asta even learns to use it as a means of transportation.Its power allows him to cut through magic, nullifying it and using the face of the blade to repel attacks back at the wielder.
Asta foundthe Demon Dweller swordwhen fighting against the Diamond Kingdom in his first dungeon exploration mission. This sword allows him toborrow any form of magic from other magic usersby absorbing their magic. The sword will be lit up with the magic power it has borrowed and then it can be thrown as an offensive attack towards enemies. Asta still has yet to master the full capabilities of this sword as it will take some time for him to use it to its full potential.
The Demon Destroyer Sword and the Demon Slasher Sword
The Slasher Sword Is Unique Since It Was Given to Asta
The Demon Destroyer swordhas a unique design compared to the other blades since the end of the blade is curved and has a clover symbol on it. The power of this blade allows Astathe ability to absorb and remove any magic spellat a greater capacity than the Demon Slayer sword. Its special ability is known as Causality Break and helped Asta revert the Reincarnation Magic that the elves used against the Clover Kingdom.
The Demon Slasher swordis Yami’s katana that he threw to Asta when they were fighting the leader ofthe Dark Triad, Dante.Asta turned the katana into an anti-magic swordwhen his devil arm grabbed the blade. He put the sword into his grimoire and named it the Demon Slasher sword in honor of Yami, who was taken by the Dark Triad after their battle with Dante.
Each of the four swords has unique abilities and Asta uses them all in combat, depending on the situation he is facing. They are the only weapons that can channel the anti-magic that he uses and will hopefullyhelp Asta become the Wizard Kingin the future ofBlack Clover.
