American musician and multiple Grammy Award nominee Billie Eilish recorded the theme song forNo Time To Die, the upcoming 25th installment of the James Bond movie franchise, and now the official music video for the song has premiered. TitledNo Time To Die(obviously), the black-and-white video features Eilish singing against a backdrop of scenes from the film.

The 18-year-old singer and songwriter is the youngest musician to perform a James Bond theme in the franchise’s history, with Eilish co-writing the theme with her brother and frequent musical collaborator, Finneas.

In January, the announcement of her involvement with the film was teased for several days before beingconfirmed by Eilish herselfon social media, as well as the official social media account for the James Bond franchise.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,” said Eilish in a statement regarding the project. “To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

Finneas alluded to the iconic status of past James Bond themes in his own statement regarding the project.

“There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes ofGoldfingerandLive And Let Die.” he said. “We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007.”

Eilish won five Grammy Awards at the ceremony held in January, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist, tied to her debut album,When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.She holds the distinction of being the youngest musician to receive nominations in the four primary Grammy Award categories in a single year.

Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond in his fifth installment of the long-running franchise,No Time To Diefinds James Bond peacefully enjoying retirement until his friend and CIA officer Felix Leiter (Westworldactor Jeffrey Wright) pulls him out of retirement to help find a missing scientist. Academy Award winner Rami Malek portrays the film’s mysterious villain, Safin, whileCaptain Marvelactress Lashana Lynch plays a new character who takes over the “007” designation after Bond’s retirement.

No Time To Dieis currently scheduled to hit theaters November 20, but could have its premiere postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
