The poster, as seen above, offers a new look at Nelson’s titular character, looking as though he’s living in hard times. The image also showcases Bang Bang sporting a prominent tattoo on his chest with the name of “Bobby,” a character whose connection to him is currently unknown.

Will Bang Bang Keep Nelson’s Unique Rotten Tomatoes Streak Alive?

Penned byThe SopranosandBoardwalk EmpirealumWill Janowitz and directed by Vincent Grashaw,Bang Bangcenters on Bernard Rozyski, better known by his titular nickname, a retired pugilist who hopes to reconnect with his estranged grandson while also getting back into training in the sport. As he begins to find new purpose in his life, though, he comes under the doubtful eye of many people, including a decades-ago ex-girlfriend and his former rival, Detroit’s Mayoral candidate Darnell Washington. Alongside Nelson, the movie’s ensemble cast includesCowboy Bebop’s Daniella Pineda, Glenn Plummer, Kevin Corrigan and Andrew Liner.

In addition to starring in the movie,Bang Bangmarks a return for Nelson to the executive producer’s chair, and could very well continue the unique success streak he’s enjoyed on Rotten Tomatoes from said position.
